In Memory of Artist Teacher, the Late Sri Krishna Chhatpar (1936-2022)

The Pro-Seed Artist Residency at SARA Centre successfully engaged four young artists from diverse visual arts disciplines. Archana Singh (Baroda, Gujarat), Gitanjali Poluru (Ahmedabad, Gujarat), Mathew Dominic (Cherthala, Kerala), and Partha Banik (Sonamura, Tripura) participated in this month-long program, where they connected deeply with the local ecosystem through site visits, interactions with ecologists and farmers, and workshops for local schools. The residency culminated in an open day for the community, celebrating their creative journey and fostering ecological awareness among the participants and the local community.
